Biology is the study of living organisms at all levels, ranging from investigations into molecular structure and processes to studies of complex interactions among different organisms. A concentration in Environmental Biology takes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding how concepts and theories from diverse disciplines (such as ecology, physics, chemistry and geology) can explain the earth's ecosystems and work to solve many environmental problems.
