December 3, 2026, Board Meeting
NOTICE OF PUBLIC RULEMAKING HEARING
The Tennessee Tech Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing under the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, T.C.A. § 4-5-204, on December 3, 2026, starting at 1:30 p.m. CDT. The hearing will be held at Tennessee Tech, Roaden University Center, Room 282, 1000 N. Dixie Avenue, Cookeville, Tennessee 38505.
Tennessee Tech previously filed a Notice of Rulemaking Hearing with the Tennessee Secretary of State on October 2, 2026, proposing amendments to the following rules:
- Rule 0240-09-02-.01, Definitions (Chapter 0240-09-02, Student Housing Regulations).
- Rule 0240-09-08-.01, Definitions (Chapter 0240-09-08, Title IX Compliance).
Oral and written comments on the proposed rule amendments will be received at the hearing. Interested parties may also submit written comments and requests for copies of the rulemaking notice by email to Ellie Putman, Associate University Counsel, at eputman@tntech.edu. Emailed comments must be received on or before 4:30 p.m. CST on Monday, November 30, 2026.
