COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE & HUMAN ECOLOGY
The College of Agriculture and Human Ecology reaches far beyond rural life, with coursework
honing entrepreneurial, management and leadership skills in food production and safety,
dietetics, families, farming, pre-veterinary science, and design and merchandising.
COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCES
The College of Arts and Sciences houses the foundation courses for all Tennessee Tech
majors and is a thriving academic unit where students get a liberal arts education
that will help them become lifelong learners and critical thinkers, across a wide
variety of careers.
COLLEGE OF BUSINESS
College of Business students study to become leaders through programs in business
management, marketing, international business and cultures, finance, economics, accounting,
business information technology, the masters in business administration, and the master
of accountancy.
COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
The College of Education offers cutting-edge degrees and programs in teaching, administration,
exceptional learning, psychology, counseling, supervision, allied health professions,
and more. Our undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students have access to extensive
academic support, research opportunities, and unique learning resources.
COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING
The College of Engineering awards more than 400 degrees annually in seven disciplines
that defined Tennessee Tech as the state’s only technological university. Engineering
was the first academic unit on campus to develop a doctoral program and is home to
many graduate-level degree programs.
COLLEGE OF FINE ARTS
College of Fine Arts is home to nationally accredited undergraduate degree programs
in art, design, fine craft, music performance and music education, which are all offered
in state-of-the-art facilities, including craft studios, art education labs, concert
and recital halls.
COLLEGE OF GRADUATE STUDIES
The College of Graduate Studies administers a total of four doctoral programs in engineering,
education, nursing practice and environmental sciences, as well as 24 master's and
specialist's degrees. On-campus or online, the College of Graduate Studies has programs
that help students move their careers forward.
COLLEGE OF INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES
The College of Interdisciplinary Studies opens the door to custom-degree offerings
for students interested in specialized studies not already offered by another academic
unit on campus.
WHITSON-HESTER SCHOOL OF NURSING
The School of Nursing is home to a diverse student group consisting of students seeking
the nursing degree for their initial career, students entering nursing for a career
change, current RNs seeking a Master’s degree in nursing, and RNs returning to school
for the baccalaureate degree.
HEALTH SCIENCES & PRE-PROFESSIONAL CAREER TRACKS
Tennessee Tech provides several academic programs and concentrations for students
pursuing careers in healthcare. We offer academic pathways to help students become
eligible for post-baccalaureate programs in careers such as athletic training, dentistry,
health information management, medical technology, medicine, nursing, occupational
therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physician assistant, physical therapy, and veterinary
medicine.
Honors Program
Honors is an academic program with a mission to provide smaller, in-depth classes
and co-curricular opportunities for intellectually ready students. The program strives
to help students develop their individual strengths--both within and beyond their
majors--through research, leadership, civic engagement and service, communication,
team-building, and greater cultural understanding.
Army ROTC
Tennessee Tech’s Army ROTC program proudly develops leaders of tomorrow, providing
premiere leadership curriculum. With a commitment to excellence and high academic
standards and leadership ethos, ROTC prepares students for successful careers in and
out of the Army.
Volpe Library
The Angelo & Jennette Volpe Library is a hub for learning resources on campus. With
study spaces, tutoring, research materials, and the university’s archives and special
collections, the library is happy to help the Tech and Cookeville community with their
information needs.
