Spirit Day Competitions
On-Campus Decorating Competition
The Office of Communications and Marketing invites you to participate in our Spirit Days On-Campus Decorating Competition! Decorate your residential hall lobby or your main office area to display school spirit! Be creative! Use streamers, poster board, Tech branded items, etc. You are also welcome to base your display on a theme. Past themes have included: Harry Potter and Hogwarts, Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, Star Trek, etc. The goal is to have fun, show Tech spirit, and decorate your lobbies to welcome new and returning students.
First place winners will be chosen from academic offices, administrative offices, and residence halls!
Entries must be complete by midnight, August 31. First place winners will be announced on social media.

Rules:
- Ensure that accessibility is not hindered by your display.
- No open flames.
- Tactful and appropriate decorations.
- Show your purple and gold spirit.
- Get creative! If using Tech Spirit Signs, maximum of 1 sign to be included in decorations.
- Have fun!
Perks Partner Slogan Competition and Alumni Competition
The Office of Communications and Marketing invites Alums and Golden Eagle Perks Partners to participate in our Off-Campus Spirit Day Competition! First place winner will be chosen from each category – Most Spirited Alum and Golden Eagle Perks Partner Slogan. Alums decorate your office, wear spirited attire, or create your own spirited idea. Golden Eagle Perk Partners create your own Tennessee Tech Slogan and display on your business marguee, window art, etc. We ask that you leave your slogan up throughout Spirit Days to help welcome the students back to the campus and community.
Entry form must be submitted prior to midnight, August 25.
- First place winners for the Alumni portion of the contest will be announced on social media on August 28.
- First place winners for the Business Slogan portion of the contest will be announced on social media on August 29.
