About

Focused on technology integration and its ability to enhance the delivery of content in the classroom, Dr. Beach has taught a variety of courses that are related to instructional technologies, instructional design, research methodologies. He also has a research interest in augmented and virtual reality simulations that can be used in educational environments.  Jason received his Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee in Instructional Technology with a cognate in andragogy. He currently serves as the director of the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning and the Jeffers Learning Resource Center. He also coordinates the VISION research lab that provides virtual reality content for teachers to improve their pedagogy in the classroom. Dr. Beach served as the Innovation Chair for Tennessee Tech’s strategic planning initiative.
