Stephanie Wendt, Ed.D. is a Professor of Teacher Education at Tennessee Tech University. She teaches science methods, data assessment, field experience, learning theory, and grant writing. Dr. Wendt serves on the TSTA Board of Directors and leads state, national, and international professional development for K-12 educators. Dr. Wendt is a reviewer for NSTA’s award-winning journal Science and Children and co-edited the book Exploring science through young adult literature (Rowman & Littlefield, 2023). She has a number of other publications including those in the Journal of Science, Mathematics and Technology Learning (2022); KDP’s The Teacher Advocate (Summer, 2021); Integrating 3D Printing into Teaching & Learning: Practitioners’ Perspectives (Brill/Sense, 2020); and L. Froschauer (Ed.), Bringing STEM to the elementary classroom (NSTA press, 2016).
