Joey Gill is the Assistant Director of Web & Digital Media at Tennessee Tech University. He works with departments across campus to develop and manage web content, support digital communications initiatives, and help ensure the university's online presence effectively serves its audiences.
Prior to joining Tennessee Tech in June 2026, Joey worked at the University of South Carolina Aiken as a Web Developer and Digital Accessibility Specialist, where he focused on website development, accessibility, and user experience. His professional experience spans higher education, local news media, and digital communications.
Joey is passionate about creating clear, accessible, and engaging digital experiences. He enjoys helping people connect with information through thoughtful content, intuitive design, and effective communication strategies.
Outside of work, Joey enjoys hiking, nature photography, technology, and listening to music. Having recently relocated to Cookeville, he is excited to explore his new hometown and experience the many hiking opportunities and natural beauty of the Upper Cumberland region.
