After earning a BS in Plant Biology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI, it was an avid interest in letterpress printing that sparked his interest in design. Upon receiving a BFA in Design from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, he attended the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD, receiving an MFA in Graphic Design in 2022. Utilizing the heritage and unpredictability of older technology and incorporating it into a modern practice is at the core of his work, which manifests in a variety of media such as printmaking, publication design, and fibers.

Drawn to the handmade, unexpected, and repeatable elements of printing, his works seek to incorporate these elements into digital design projects, leading to a unique dialogue between analog and digital means of creation.
