Special Education - Master's

The Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Special Education, offered online or hybrid, provides graduate students the background, strategies, and support-innovations to educate and assist children and adults with special needs and unique gifts. This program also includes a strong research component.

Admissions Requirements

Students seeking admission to the Curriculum and Instruction graduate program choose from three programs: licensure, non-licensure, and post-baccalaureate. For more details on these programs, see further details below. For full admission into any of these programs, students must have:

    • Undergraduate GPA: at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale

Admission is not guaranteed. Students who do not meet the minimum requirements may be admitted on a provisional basis, subject to College of Graduate Studies guidelines.
