The College of Fine Arts and the diverse departments within the college prepare candidates to be competent, caring professionals in a diverse, technological society. Students are engaged in many curricular and field-based activities requiring constant access and integration of technology.

  • All students are required to have an entry-level (primary) portable computing device (laptop).
  • Note that secondary computing devices like tablets can be used, however they are not considered primary computing devices.

Laptop Minimum Specifications

Mac (2018 or newer)

  • Processor: Intel-based Core i-Series 
  • Operating System: OSX 10.9 or higher
  • Screen size: 11 inch or higher 
  • RAM: 8GB or higher
  • Storage: 250gb or higher
  • Webcam and microphone

Financial Aid for Technology

Available financial aid for the amount of up to $2,000 can be used towards the purchase of a computing device with necessary software.
