The primary goal of the department of exercise science, physical education and wellness is to prepare future professionals in the fields of teaching, fitness, wellness and rehabilitation. Students majoring in the licensure concentration experience cutting-edge courses in exercise science, developing motor skills, integrating technology and exercise, developmental movement, instructional strategies and games. Clinical experiences in the classroom prepare pre-service teachers for a successful career doing what you love and sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm with students.
