Degree Information
Start your future with Tennessee Tech!
Nursing is a meaningful career where competence and caring go hand in hand. A nursing degree from Tennessee Tech prepares the professional nurse to function in and contribute to the delivery of health care services to individuals, families, and groups in homes, clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, schools and community health care settings. The School of Nursing offers a fully online RN-to-BSN program for Registered Nurses with either an AAS or ADN seeking their Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Through the Tennessee Mobility Act, Tennessee Tech is able to award credit for more than half of the upper division nursing courses to qualifying RN-BSN students. The potential for experiential learning credit is available in community health and leadership/management nursing courses. The policy and procedure for experiential credit can be found in the Student Nursing Handbook. Most general education course requirements are covered by ASN program coursework; however applicants may have some remaining general education courses to complete. This will vary based on when and where the initial ASN degree was completed.
