The Biology Department offers a Bachelor's of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. Conservation Biology focuses on the conservation of animal populations and natural resources. In addition to a strong basis in Biology, students pursuing a Wildlife and Fisheries degree study animal populations such as fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals, as well as the ecological principles essential to maintaining and conserving those populations. Conservation biology combines theoretical and applied knowledge to address conservation issues, preparing students for careers in fish and wildlife management and other conservation-focused fields.
