About
Terri joined the Tennessee Tech family as a Grant Accountant in 2016. After several years focused on external sponsored research, Terri shifted to the Budget Office in 2018. Prior to joining Tennessee Tech, Terri gained experience in several different industries. Terri began her career in the manufacturing industry at Identity Group. Terri spent 10 years in this industry and served as a Corporate Accountant and Corporate Accounting Manager. In 2010, Terri shifted to the financial services industry with focus on asset and investment management and retirement planning. Terri joined a local firm, Fidelis Financial Strategies and became a Series 7 registered agent. Terri spent 8 years in this industry before shifting into governmental accounting and joining the public higher education sector.
She obtained her undergraduate degree with a major in Accounting in 1999. In 2019, Terri returned to Tennessee Tech and obtained her Masters of Accountancy and became a Certified Public Accountant.
About
Emalee joined the Budget Office in 2020. She obtained both her undergraduate degree with a major in Accounting in 2012, and her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in 2013, from Tennessee Tech. After graduating, Emalee spent a year in public accounting in the tax division of LBMC before joining the manufacturing industry. The majority of her prior experience was spent in this industry as an Accountant for Komatsu America Corporation, where she was employed for nearly five years. Before joining the Budget Office, she was a Senior Expense Auditor for Deloitte on their Global Finance Services Policy and Expense Compliance Team.
About
Lauren graduated in 2015 with her finance degree. After graduating she worked in the banking industry doing internal accounting for 3 years. She started working at Tennessee Tech in 2018 in General Accounting, transferred to Grant Accounting in 2020, and in 2021 she joined the Budget Office.
