Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence
- CAFÉ Conversations
CAFÉ Conversations brings together the campus community around important student and faculty success topics in a setting that promotes positive and engaging dialogue. Participants can have questions answered about available resources and discuss campus and community engagement opportunities. For those who wish to gain an appreciation for, and broader understanding of student, faculty, and campus life, CAFÉ Conversations is for you!
For the fall, the CAFÉ will host two CAFÉ Conversation series, Diversity & Inclusion and the President's Cabinet.
All CAFÉ Conversations will take place in Derryberry Room 202.
Coffee/Tea/Water and individual snacks will be provided.
Welcome to the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFÉ)! Our mission as the university’s faculty development center is to provide support for faculty innovation and lifelong learning. The CAFÉ provides professional development workshops, consultations, web resources, online communities and more, all aimed at helping faculty create an enhanced learning experience for all Tennessee Tech students.
Currently, our faculty resources include information about teaching and learning, research and scholarly activities, engagement, career support and leadership development, and diversity.
Our goal is to improve the coordination of these services and resources while also enhancing campus communication about them to better help facilitate data-driven decision-making.
