Friday Café

Friday Café is the hands-on learning experience for foods and nutrition students in Human Ecology. A student-led restaurant, open only on Fridays for lunch, the Friday Café provides a real-world learning experience for students enrolled in HEC 3240 Quantity Food Production. Students experience every aspect of meal management including menu planning, food production, purchasing, service, food sanitation and safety, and marketing.

    • We will be in the dining room (OKLY 005) this semester and will also offer a carry-out option that can be picked up at the Friday Cafe kitchen door (OKLY 006).
    • Meal service and carry-out begins at noon.
    • Meals cost $8.50. Meal reservations must be made through MarketPlace by making prepayment before noon on Wednesday for Friday's meal.
    • No refunds. If you need to transfer your reservation to another week, please email cheyennelewis@tntech.edu.
