Appalachian Center for Craft

Directions to the Craft Center

The Appalachian Center for Craft is located on more than 500 wooded acres overlooking Center Hill Lake in scenic Middle Tennessee. The facility was built in 1979 and has more than 87,000 square feet of spacious studios, gallery, exhibition spaces, offices, library, cafe, student housing, meeting and audio/visual rooms.

We are located off Highway 56 between Silver Point and Smithville on the northeast side of Hurricane Bridge. Parking is available in the main lot on the right.

The administration/gallery/cafe building is open to the public. Other buildings are studios and classrooms for our Tennessee Tech students and are open by appointment/tour only.
