SGA Mission Statement
The mission of the Student Government Association (SGA) at Tennessee Technological University is to act as a channel for the expression of student opinion regarding the university, collaborate with administration to better student welfare, support student organizations, and foster community on campus.
SGA acts as a liaison between the university administration and students, strives to create a sense of community and campus involvement, provides a forum for the open expression of student opinions and ideas, and facilitates the creation of an atmosphere conducive to a high level of academic achievement.

- Attend Bi-Weekly Senate Meetings at 7pm on Mondays
- Attend Bi-Weekly Senate Committee Meetings
- Attend University Committee Meetings
- Work the SOLO Concerts (and often meet the performers!)
- Help with other SGA events and initiatives
- Advocate for student needs and ideas through communicating with University Administration
