Class of 1976 Golden Grad Reunion
We love meeting and celebrating our Golden Grads - those who are celebrating 50 years since graduating from Tennessee Tech. We invite you to join us for Homecoming weekend, Nov. 6-7 for the Class of 1976 Golden Grad reunion, where it is tradition to present a Golden Grad medallion to each attendee from the year's highlighted class, and we welcome you into the Golden Grad Society. We look forward to inducting the Class of 1976 this year!

Friday, November 6
- » 10:00-10:30 - Check-In
Varsity Building (705 N. Dixie Avenue)
Meet with your fellow classmates in the “old” Varsity Cinema, now home to Tech’s Crawford Alumni Center. Grab your Tech swag bag and prepare for a great weekend! Reserved parking located at the Varsity Building.
- » 10:30-12:00 - Campus and College Tours
Depart the Varsity Building for a drive-through tour of campus. Enjoy stops at the buildings that house your college today, with student-led tours.
- » 12:00-1:30 - Lunch
Enjoy a catered lunch in the Varsity Building. Connect with your classmates, view yearbooks, photos, and other memorabilia.
- » 1:30-4:30 - Free Afternoon
Walk campus, or drive to Cookeville’s historic district to visit the old depot or shop. Cookeville and campus maps will be provided.
- » 4:30-6:30 - Golden Hour Reception and Medallion Awards
Roaden University Center, The Caf Extension (1000 N. Dixie Avenue)
Watch the setting sun and savor delicious hors d’oeuvres and drinks in the “new” back extension of the “old” cafeteria. You will be recognized as an official Tennessee Tech Golden Grad and presented with a 50-year medallion. Reserved parking behind Henderson Hall.
Saturday, November 7
- » 8:30-9:30 - Breakfast and Parade Watch Party
Centennial Plaza (south side of Roaden University Center)
Join with other alumni for a delicious breakfast (including Ralph’s Donuts!) and get a front-row seat to the 2026 Tennessee Tech Homecoming Parade.

- » 10:30-1:00 - Tailgate Park / Lunch
(between Tucker Stadium and the Hooper Eblen Center)
Get into the football spirit with good music, great food, and live entertainment. Greet the team as they make their way into the stadium, and enjoy the sounds of the Golden Eagle Marching Band. Tailgating at its best!
- » 1:30-4:30 - Football Game On Your Own
Make your way to Tucker Stadium to cheer on your Golden Eagles as they battle VMI. Whether you're seated on the new west side or the classic east side, you're sure to enjoy a great Homecoming game day atmosphere. Game tickets are an additional fee.
