Memorial Food Pantry Dedication Event

On Tuesday, April 15, Tennessee Tech will formally dedicate the
Michelle Huddleston Food Pantry.

Michelle, who passed away on Oct. 21, 2023, served as associate director of residential life and service learning at Tech. A hallmark of her service to the university included her leadership overseeing Tech's food pantry. Michelle's leadership was especially evident in the aftermath of the March 2020 tornadoes and COVID-19 pandemic. Michelle teamed up with Residential Life, Health Services and Chartwells to make sure no one went without meals while in quarantine. She also helped build a system to ensure students had meals and snacks for their dorm rooms or off-campus apartments, calling the program "Meals on Wings."

Join us as we remember Michelle Huddleston, celebrate her legacy and name the place she loved in her honor.

Guest parking will be available at the West Purple Lot on N. Franklin Avenue. The Tech shuttle will bring guests into campus. Guests should get off at the Roaden University Center stop.
