Get ready to rewind! Join the Crawford Alumni Center and Tennessee Tech alumni, students, and our community for our 2nd annual Movies on the Quad on September 11 with an outdoor retro movie favorite, popcorn, live music with a Tech student band, lawn games, friendship bracelets, and food trucks right on the Quad.
Join us at 6:00 p.m. for the pre-party with live music, games, friendship bracelets, and food truck fare before the movie begins. The movie will start at 7:15 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a night under the stars on the Quad!

- » What is Movies on the Quad?
Movies on the Quad is a free Tennessee Tech event showing your favorite family-friendly films right on campus with movie snacks, music, games, friendship bracelets, and more.
Movies on the Quad is for everyone — our Tennessee Tech alumni, students, campus community, and Cookeville community. Everyone is welcome!
- » How much do tickets cost?
Movies on the Quad is a free event! Concessions and food truck fare will be available for purchase at the event.
To help support future events like Movies on the Quad, you can donate to the Crawford Alumni Center.
- » Where can I park?
Free parking is available at the parking lot behind TJ Farr and Henderson Hall. President's Club members will have premium parking in this lot.
- » When should I arrive?
At 6 PM, Movies on the Quad will begin with concessions, music, games, and more before the movie begins. The movie will begin at 7:15 PM, so be sure to arrive with enough time to grab a snack and find your seat!
- » Outside Food & Beverage
Outside food and beverages are not permitted. We will be serving movie popcorn and food truck fare will be available for purchase! Open/unsealed water bottles are not permitted. Please only bring sealed water bottles.
- » Will there be restrooms available?
Restrooms will be available at the Memorial Gym.
- » What should I bring?
Lawn chairs, blankets, or pillows to comfortably watch the movie. A small tarp or waterproof cover beneath your blanket is recommended. Please note that guests will be seated in the lawn chair seating area to ensure guests sitting on the ground can watch the movie unobstructed. Lawn chairs should be average in size and should not be over-sized and obstruct others' view of the movie.

- » Smoking/Vaping
Smoking and vaping are not permitted at any time during the event. Tennessee Tech is a smoke-free campus.
- » Weather
If inclement weather requires a reschedule, we will notify guests and post to our social media as soon as possible.
- » Prohibited Items
Outside food and beverage, inflatable furniture, tents, coolers, glass bottles or items, candles, alcohol, speakers, bug spray/repellent, weapons, or any items that may obstruct the view or disrupt others or not in accordance with Tennessee Tech policies.
- » Alcohol Policy
This is an alcohol-free event, and alcohol is prohibited.
- » Is there an age minimum?
Movie-goers of all ages are welcome at Movies on the Quad and we show family-friendly films, but it is the responsibility of parents or guardians to ensure that the movie shown is appropriate for their children.
