Business Management at Tennessee Tech: Transforming Ideas into Results

Strong leadership and effective management are at the heart of every successful organization. At Tennessee Tech, our business management program prepares you to coordinate people, processes, and resources to drive results.

Leadership Development & Practical Experience

Management students learn through leadership simulations, strategy workshops, and collaborative consulting projects. Professors with professional management experience connect theory to practice. Internships and team-based assignments give you opportunities to practice motivating people, organizing resources, and guiding change.

Professional Networks & Leadership Opportunities

Develop your leadership skills through the Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM), which promotes management theory and practice through guest lectures, professional development, and case competitions including the SAM International Conference. Join Alpha Kappa Psi, a co-ed business fraternity focused on ethical leadership and professional development through speakers, service projects, and networking events.

Selected students can become College of Business Student Ambassadors, representing the college at functions, recruiting new students, and building leadership experience through university engagement.

Your Path to Executive Leadership

Tennessee Tech graduates enter leadership roles equipped to inspire teams, coordinate resources, and guide organizations through change. You’ll be ready to take on management responsibilities in any industry.
