UCWP

The Upper Cumberland Writing Project (UCWP) is a professional development program designed to improve writing and writing instruction in the region's schools--in all grade levels and all subject areas. We work from a firm belief in the power of

• teachers teaching teachers;
• relying on classroom-tested knowledge and practices; and
• employing diverse approaches to writing instruction across disciplines.

We are a network of experienced pre-K-12 and college-level educators who care about working with writers to improve skills, strategies, and attitudes.
