Undergraduate/Transfer Student Pathway to
Initial Licensure

This pathway applies to candidates pursuing a bachelor’s degree and initial teaching licensure with the Office of Teacher Education (OTE) at Tennessee Tech.

An undergraduate teacher licensure candidate will progress through a curriculum that will prepare them for the teaching licensure exam(s), the Praxis, and for numerous clinical experiences. Please begin with "OTE Admission Requirements" and follow the steps and note the deadlines carefully. 

If you are unsure of your student classification, please contact your academic advisor to confirm before you begin the your application to OTE.
