TN Teacher Jobs Connection
TN Teacher Jobs Connection is open to educators who are both currently licensed to teach in Tennessee, as well as recent graduates, or out-of-state job seekers who are not yet licensed.
Candidates who are currently pursuing a Tennessee teaching license are also welcome to participate as they could potentially be hired on a permit.
Southern Teachers Agency (STA)
Southern Teachers work with over 700 K-12 private schools in the South and their job is to to find the right match between teachers and schools. STA services are always FREE to job seekers! How does it work?
- Apply: fill out an online application with Southern Teachers.
- Schedule: If you are accepted as a candidate, your assigned Placement Counselor will schedule an interview to learn about your experience and what you’re looking for.
- Connect: STA will identify the best job opportunities for you and start connecting you with schools.

Nimble: Teacher Job Search Platform
The Tennessee Department of Education launched a new Teacher Job Search Platform in Jan. 2025.
This service is a one-stop-shop for current and rising educators to find jobs they’ll love in Tennessee. It automatically aggregates all schools and job postings across the state, without district administrators having to post jobs manually, and gives teachers the ability to filter for jobs that meet their preferences.
They can see critical information like commute time and salary scales all in one place.
The platform also allows qualified teachers to proactively connect with principals, to see if they might be a fit for their openings, or to sign up for a free job matching service.
