Training

Tennessee Tech University is committed to maintaining high standards of research integrity and regulatory compliance. As part of this commitment, we offer comprehensive training programs designed to equip researchers with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate complex ethical and legal requirements. This proactive approach reflects our dedication to fostering a culture of accountability and excellence in research.

Tennessee Tech subscribes to the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) as a means to provide training in areas such as the Responsible Conduct of Research, Animal Subjects, Human Subjects, Research Security, and Export Controls.

To register and access the CITI training courses, please visit the CITI website at www.CITIProgram.org and affiliate with Tennessee Tech University.

If you have any questions about the training requirements or are having issues with the CITI website, please email the Office of Research Integrity and Compliance at ResearchCompliance@tntech.edu.

A new condensed, one-hour research security module, called “Research Security (Combined)” is now available via CITI Program and may be taken in lieu of the four-module “Research Security Training” course. If you have already taken the four-module “Research Security Training” course, you do not need to take the condensed course as well.
