International Business and Cultures
Global Engagement
International Business and Cultures is an ever growing field of business. Tennessee Tech College of Business desires to evolve and advance alongside the global business environment. The TTU International Business program enables students to study foreign languages, travel abroad, become immersed in various clubs and student exchange programs, and understand the dynamic nature of business around the world. Throughout the course of the program, students will harness the necessary skills to excel at any international position!
Diverse Experiences.
The International Business 4-Year Program enables students to overcome international borders, language barriers, and cultural differences. After their sophomore year at TTU, students complete their 3rd year in Aachen, Germany. Students graduate with a prestigious dual degree, i.e. a degree from Tennessee Tech University and from the University of Applied Sciences in Aachen. Aachen University of Applied Sciences offers many Business courses taught in English and provides excellent support services for enrolled students.
Each school year, a qualified professor (or professors) teaches a course on business in a specific country. At the end of the course, the class visits the country to experience firsthand the content they learned all semester. There is an additional cost to take these classes to help fund the trip. Past trips include visits to London, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Brazil.
The TTU College of Business partners with the Magellan Exchange Program to offer study abroad opportunities to all students. The future of business is deeply intertwined with global and cross-cultural aptitude. Participating in the student exchange program is the best way to learn about another culture and country. Magellan has several location and study abroad options to meet the diverse needs of every student!
