Housing Rates ›

The housing rates for Residence Halls and Tech Village apartments change from semester to semester.  Be sure to check the rates for the term you are applying for! Rates will depend on things such as term, type of room, type of apartment, and other factors. If you have any questions regarding housing rates, we’re happy to help! *Housing rates are approved by the Board of Trustees each Spring for the following Fall, Spring and Summer Semesters.

Residence Hall Room Rates TECH VILLAGE APARTMENT RATES

 

Spring 2026 ›

Applications for Spring housing will be made available on the application portal each October 1st before the upcoming spring term. If October 1st falls on a weekend, the application will go live the following Monday.  Spring 2026 applications will go live on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 10 a.m. (CST) for New Students.

Housing Details:

  • Hall applications are available to any student not currently living on campus.
  • Tech Village apartment applications will not be available.
  • A hall application for spring housing is not required for students living on campus for the Fall 2025 semester.
  • $200 prepayment is due at the time of application.
  • Hall assignments are made by application date (first come/first served).
  • Roommate portal on the hall application closes Monday, December 1, 2025 at Noon (CST).
  • Hall assignment emails will be sent out late December (before staff leaves for winter break or early January), depending on your application date.

*Please Note: Students living in a Tech Village apartment who are not returning for Summer 2026 will need to be out of the apartment by May 15, 2026. The remaining days of May will be credited to you.

 

APPLY FOR SPRING 2026 HOUSING

 

Summer 2026 ›

Our summer school residence hall is typically in M.S. Cooper/Pinkerton and is subject to change at any time if needed. Applications for summer housing will be made available via the application portal at noon (CST) on Monday, March 2, 2026 for the upcoming summer term(s).

📌If you live on campus for Summer 2026 and want to live on campus for Fall 2026 you will need to fill out a separate housing application for Fall 2026.


Residential Halls - Summer 2026 Housing Details:

  • Hall applications are available to any student taking classes for the summer.
  • $200 prepayment is due at the time of application.
  • Hall assignments are made by the application date (first come/first served).
  • Hall assignment emails will be sent out starting in late April 2026.

Tech Village - Summer 2026 Housing Details:

  • Students living in Tech Village for summer do not have to take classes during the summer, but are required to be  registered for fall classes.
  • Residents living on campus Spring 2026 will have opportunity to participate in room apartment selection for Fall 2026, depending on availability. Information will be sent to current residents about the process.
  • Prepayments are due at time of applications.

APPLY FOR SUMMER 2026 HOUSING

Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 ›

New Student Applications for fall housing will be made available on the application portal each October 1st before the upcoming spring term. If October 1st falls on a weekend, the application will go live the following Monday. Fall 2026 applications will go live on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 10 a.m. (CST) for New Students.

📌Winter Break Note (between Fall and Spring semesters):

  • Eligible Halls: To be considered for Interim Housing, you must be assigned to one of the following residence halls for the Fall semester:
    (These are the only halls that remain open during the break)
    • M.S. Cooper/Pinkerton
    • New Hall North
    • New Hall South
  • Approval Required: All residents must submit a request and be approved to stay during Winter Break.
  • Additional Fees: Extra charges apply for Interim Housing during this period.

Interim Housing over Breaks ›

Interim Housing is available for students living in the residence halls who need housing between academic terms—such as between Fall and Spring semesters, or Spring to Summer.

Application Information:

  • This is not a regular housing application.
  • This serves as a supplement to your original housing application
  • There is a separate charge for Interim Housing

Disability Housing Requests ›

Do you have a physical disability or condition warranting special consideration in making your housing assignment?  If so, students requesting disability housing accommodations must register with The Accessible Education Center before your requested housing accommodations may be provided. 

You must submit or complete the following information:

  1. Complete a housing application and submit $200 prepayment during the application.
  2. Complete any necessary paperwork and/or procedures that The Accessible Education Center requires of you.

Immunization Requirements

IMPORTANT: It is state law that all new incoming students living on campus who are under 22 years of age are required to produce proof of adequate immunization against Meningococcal Disease (Meningitis) on or after your 16th birthday.

You must submit this proof to the Health Services office. Please do not send any such records directly to the Residential Life office.

Students who have not provided their meningitis documentation to Health Services will not be allowed to check into campus housing. If you have any questions, please contact Health Services.
