Welcome to the Financial Aid Events page! Here you will find information and registration links for our Financial Aid Navigator Series events that offer incoming and currently enrolled students the chance to receive one-on-one assistance from our team and help educate you in all things Financial Aid!
In addition to our Navigator Series, you can also find links to TTU events that the Financial Aid Office will attend throughout the current school year!

The Financial Aid Navigator Series
The Financial Aid Office's brand new Navigator Series include events designed to educate current and incoming students on the ins and outs of Financial Aid, including the FAFSA process, financial literacy, and paying for college. You can read more about our upcoming events below!
The Financial Aid Early Bird Tour
When: November 21st, 2024, between 5:00PM and 8:00PM
Where: Tennessee Tech, Tech Pride Room in the RUC, Room 101
What Is It?: Stop by the Financial Aid Office's Early Bird Tour to 
meet our team and prepare for the coming 25-26 school year! The event will include
a brief presentation that discusses the key points of the financial aid and FAFSA
process, as well as computer stations students and their parents can utilize - with
assistance from our team, of course - to get a head start on all things financial
aid for the coming school year! Below is a list of processes our team can help you complete:
- Creating a FSA ID on studentaid.gov (for both students and parents)
- Registering for TSAC Portal on tn.gov
- Accessing Tech Express for the first time and providing an introduction to financial aid related systems
- Haven't applied to Tech? We will help you!
The event is open to all interested students and family members, so feel free to drop in! Additionally, all students who attend will have a chance to potentially receive cool Tech-affiliated swag and other AWESOME prizes, so if you are interested in applying for Financial Aid's Early Bird Tour, please click the link below, choose a time you are interested in attending, and save the date!
Once registered, please consult the below information concerning documentation you may need to bring with you to prepare for the coming 25-26 FAFSA!
If you require assistance with creating a FSA ID or TSAC account, please make sure you:
- have an email account you can utilize to register (non-school issued address is preferred)
- birth date information
- memorize or a bring a copy of your social security number
If you want to access your Tech email for the first time, please have:
- your Tennessee Tech-issued email address and
- your Tech-issued T-number
If you have been recently admitted, you can find both on your Admission announcement email!
