Scholarships
Outside of Federal and State aid, students can also apply for Scholarships! In general, there are two forms of scholarships potentially available to Tennessee Tech students: Institutional Scholarships and External Scholarships.
Institutional Scholarships
Tennessee Tech University Scholarships are potentially available to students who are currently enrolled or have applied and been admitted to the university. The majority of Tech's Scholarships are competitive-based, with eligibility for awards primarily determined by a student's GPA, degree-path, status, etc. Tennessee Tech has almost 750 scholarships potentially available to current and incoming students, including the following:
- Admissions Scholarships and Grants
- Departmental & Donor-Funded Scholarships
- Athletic Scholarships
- Honors Program Scholarships
- Music Performance Scholarships
- ROTC (Military Science) Scholarships
To apply for Tech Scholarships, students must complete the Scholarship Application each year. For more information concerning Tech Scholarships and the application process, please visit our Scholarships webpage.
External Scholarships
Students can also search for External Scholarships, outside scholarships that are not awarded by Tennessee Tech but can be used to help cover college costs. External Scholarships are potentially available to students from local businesses/churches, clubs, foundations and organizations, as well from student and/or parent employers or from a student's service with AmeriCorps.
For information concerning External Scholarships, as well as additional information concerning where to search for them, please visit our Outside/External Scholarships page.
