University Loan - 2024 Fall Term

University Loan
This short-term loan is available to students on the first day of classes each semester for Fall or Spring. It is designed to help students with their account balance so that they may confirm their schedule while allowing them additional time to cover their account balance.
- During Fall and Spring semesters the loan will only cover the amount needed to make their first deferred payment (25% of the account balance plus a $50 fee).
- During the Summer (First Five Weeks & Full Term), the loan can cover the amount needed to pay 50% of eligible charges, PLUS a $50 non-refundable service fee. However, it will be available before the first day of class during the summer term.
- During the Summer Second Five Weeks, the loan can cover 100% of eligible charges. The deferred payment plan is not available
for the Second Five Week term.
- University Loan applications received after noon Central time on June 28 will be processed on July 1. Repayment in full will be due on the last day of classes, July 23.
The application for this loan is in electronic format. Students must complete the form online and then, if it is determined they are eligible, the student will receive an e-mail to their Tennessee Tech email address with further instructions.
Students MUST HAVE one co-signer for this loan and three personal references. A credit check will NOT be completed on the co-signer nor on the personal references. Please have your co-signer and personal reference information BEFORE you complete the below application. Any incomplete applications or hand written applications will be returned to the student to complete correctly. Co-signer must be at least 18 years of age.
