Student Parking
The transportation fee paid as part of your student fees now entitles you to a virtual parking permit at no additional cost; however, payment of your student fees does not automatically register your vehicle.
Although you do not receive a physical hangtag, students who wish to park on campus are required to claim their virtual permit and register their vehicle through the Parking Portal. You will not receive a separate charge for this transaction.
Registering your vehicle helps Parking and Transportation Services maintain accurate parking records and identify authorized vehicles on campus.

2026-2027 Permit Information
2026–2027 Student Parking Permits will be available beginning August 3, 2026. Please complete and update your vehicle registration by August 14, 2026, for the Fall semester and by January 14, 2027, for the Spring semester. If your unsure of the permit ordering process, here is how to order parking permit in the parking portal. Students may register multiple vehicles to their account; however, only one registered vehicle may be parked on campus at any given time. You will know your vehicle registration has been successfully issued when you receive a confirmation receipt.
Important Reminders:
- Students may only park in areas designated for student parking.
- Students are not permitted to park in visitor spaces.
- Vehicles parked on campus must be registered with a valid parking permit.
- Vehicles parked in unauthorized areas or without a valid permit may be subject to a citation.
- Please ensure your vehicle information remains accurate and up to date in the parking portal to avoid receiving a citation.
- Please verify that your vehicle is parked in a valid parking space by ensuring it is completely between the parking lines and not encroaching on any crosshatched areas.
- Remember that signs, painted words on the pavement, and ADA spaces always override the general lot designation. If a space is marked with ADA signage, painted restrictions, or other parking instructions, do not park there, even if it is located within a Purple Lot.
