Event Parking
Weekday Events
Parking and Transportation Services is committed to providing positive parking experience for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. To help ensure parking remains readily available during peak class times, departments are encouraged to schedule events in the late afternoon or evening whenever possible.
For events held during class hours, we recommend using the UCHRA shuttle service to transport guests between designated parking areas and the event location. This convenient option helps guests reach campus easily while supporting parking availability for the campus community. The estimated cost for shuttle service is approximately $60 per hour.

Evening and Weekend Events
For events held after 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, visitors may park in any available non-reserved parking space without a virtual parking permit.
In addition, virtual parking permits are not required from Friday at 4:30 p.m. until Monday at 7:30 a.m., making evening and weekend events especially convenient for guests.
Please note that regulations for reserved spaces and illegal parking remain in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure safety and access for all campus users.
