Visitor Parking

Any person who is not a current faculty, staff or student may obtain a visitor permit.  Visitor permits allow guests to park in any visitor space or purple zone on campus.

Visitor's may obtain a visitor permit through the parking portal or directly from the Parking & Transportation Services office.  If coming to our office to obtain your permit, please be sure to have your license plate number readily available.

How to get a Visitor's Permit through the portal.

Departmental Visitors

Faculty and staff may request a permit on their visitor’s behalf.  In order to do so, the department will need to complete a Departmental Use Visitor Permit Request Form. Forms may take up to 3 business days to process.  Forms will only need to be signed by an administrator if a gold zone visitor permit or other special accommodation is being requested.  Administrator signatures that are accepted are for any individual who is a Vice President, Dean or Chairperson.

Fitness Center Visitor Parking

Fourteen visitor parking spots have been reserved on the loop in front of the Student Recreation and Fitness Center.  There is a two-hour limit for these spaces and they are for the use of visitors to the Fitness Center only.  Faculty, staff and students may not park in these spaces at any time.

30-Minute Parking Areas

There are some 30-minute spaces available in different areas across campus.  Parking in these spaces is limited to 30 minutes.  Vehicles parked in these spaces are required to display a valid parking permit.
